Funding

MPedigree currently enjoys phase 1 sponsorship from the NCIIA, and welcomes funding opportunities to catalyze growth. Resources will be used for staff expansion leading to a stepped up effort to secure the West African critical drug supply chain by 2012, and providing increased visibility for drug and aid foreign donors.

We are eager to provide the authentication and visibility services full-time in other less endowed areas and mPedigree appreciates aid in reaching more people gravely in need of safe medication.

We currently have the capacity to conduct surveys and analyses on the prevalence of fake drugs in deprived regions. Pending additional funding, we intend to provide high quality field data on this subject, as we recognize that there is a dearth of accurate data on counterfeits in such regions.
